A Biblical Blueprint for birthing spiritual realities

Jesus' birth is a spiritual template and blueprint of how God produces Kingdom commissions and callings. Our lives are surrendered and crucified with Jesus. The life we live now comes from the seed of God's Word that the Holy Spirit impregnated in our hearts, thus giving us a new spiritual life!

Be refreshed and renewed by the revelation of His Word at this special celebration of the Creator God, who planted His feet in the dust and somehow came to fit His infinite Being into a human's skin and fragile structure. Jesus Christ, our Lord!

"The angel answered and said to her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.’" Luke 1:35

How was Jesus conceived?  The angel of the Lord spoke a word, and Mary received it.

"Let it be to me according to your word.” (Luk 1:38). The recent movie of Mary depicts the struggle she had to go through to not only believe the word to conceive supernaturally without being with a man but more so once she conceived how to explain it. How will anyone believe her? Her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth, believed her testimony because they also received revelations and instructions from the Lord.

A miraculous conception. A merciless king. A murderous pursuit. Mary’s journey to give birth to Jesus unfolds in this biblical coming-of-age epic.

How is it possible to conceive without being with a man?? VERSE 39 is the highlight! "For with God nothing will be impossible."

Here are three elements present in this story:
In the natural world, conception requires both male and female contributions. The male provides the seed (sperm), and the female provides the egg. Then is the creator who gives life to the seed.  These three components unite to initiate the process of life. Without this union, the creation of new life is impossible. This principle is foundational in the natural order established by God.

In the spiritual realm, the birthing of God’s purposes also requires the "seed" of God's Word (the male contribution) and the "womb" of faith (the female contribution) and the Holy Spirit that gives life.

1. The Male Seed: God’s Word

“The seed is the word of God.” Luke 8:11

The Word of God is the divine seed that contains life, purpose, and power. Just as a natural seed carries genetic potential, God’s Word carries the blueprint for His plans and Kingdom realities.

2. The Female Womb: Faith and Obedience

When Mary responds to the angel, Let it be to me according to your word,” she exemplifies faith and submission, creating the "womb" for God's purpose to manifest in her life. (Luke 1:38)

Faith is the receptacle that receives the seed of God’s Word, nurtures it, and allows it to grow until it gives birth to new life or a Kingdom reality.

3. The Spirit Brings Life:

The Holy Spirit, much like the life force in natural conception, ensures the process results in fruitfulness.

The Bible is a compilation of God-stories where God give someone a word, in most cases a word of impossibility, and ordinary people believe and obey this word they do extraordinary things!

"The WORD of the LORD came to them":

1.     Genesis 15:1 "After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."

2.     1 Kings 6:11 "And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying..."

3.     Jeremiah 1:4 "Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying..." Jeremiah 13:3
"And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying..."

4.     Ezekiel 1:3 "The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him." Ezekiel 6:1 "And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying..." Ezekiel 12:17 "Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying..."

5.     Hosea 1:1 "The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel."

6.     Joel 1:1 "The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel."

7.     Jonah 1:1 "Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying..."

None of the patriarchs could conceive either! All their wives were originally barren.

The theme of patriarchs, firstborns, and others unable to conceive naturally yet producing heirs through supernatural means is deeply woven into Scripture. This pattern underscores God's intervention to bring forth His purposes, mirroring the miraculous conception of Jesus. Here’s how it relates:

Abraham and Sarah: Isaac Born by Faith"Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. And the Lord said, ‘Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, and Sarah shall have a son.’" Genesis 18:11-14

Isaac and Rebekah: The Birth of Jacob and Esau"Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived." Genesis 25:21

Jacob and Rachel: Joseph Born by Grace"Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. And she conceived and bore a son, and said, ‘God has taken away my reproach.’"Genesis 30:22-24

Even Elizabeth was barren at first:

Elizabeth: John the Baptist Born to Announce the Messiah: "But the angel said to him, ‘Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.’" Luke 1:13

So also is our Spiritual Birth: A physical impossibility made possible by God!

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." John 1:12-13

Our Spiritual birth reveals the same blueprint!

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:5-8

Again, three elements: Water & Spirit and the one who receives.

1.     Water in the reference refers to Jesus as the living water, the water of renewal (Titus 3:5), the incorruptible seed of the Word of God (1 Pet 1:23).

2.     The second reference is to the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

3.     The third element is the person who are now living by the Spirit.

Sometimes, we feel barren in the Spirit because of life's pressures and uncertainties. It is the time to seek the Lord for a fresh word of direction and purpose for your life!

I believe we are entering a season of divine favour and blessing.  We will see with our eyes and touch with our hands the mighty works that only God can accomplish! We have reached the end of our efforts, ambitions, and strive. In total surrender, our hearts have been washed, cleansed, and purged from all unrighteousness and uncleanness! We are a womb ready to be impregnated by new revelation and power!

"Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:19

BEWARE of the things that prevent the SEED from growing!

In the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:3-23, Mark 4:1-20, Luke 8:4-15), Jesus identifies several factors that prevent the seed (the Word of God) from growing and bearing fruit:

1. The Path (Hard Soil) - The seed is snatched away by birds (Satan) because it does not penetrate the hardened ground.

Lack of understanding or openness to the Word.

2. The Rocky Ground - The seed sprouts quickly but has no root because the soil is shallow.

Trials, persecution, or difficulties cause it to wither.

3. The Thorny Ground - The seed is choked by thorns.

Worries of life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and desires for other things prevent growth.

Like all good things, faith has to be tested for it to be authentic and strong. We have been tested in many ways but have remained abandoned to Him and Him alone!

May we, as a church and company of believers, receive a laser-like focus to busy ourselves only with what He has called us to do! It is time to be like David, Jesus, and Paul and say, "I have finished the race...I have completed my task!"

I believe God has already birthed things in people's Spirit - at this very moment! Amen!
