Mature in precision in speech
“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things” 226. ἀληθεύω alētheúō; fut. alētheúsō, from alēthḗs (G0227), real, actual, not counterfeit. To act genuinely, truly. In Eph. 4:15, the expression “speaking the truth in love” is alētheúontes, meaning to endeavor to express the truth in a loving manner. In Gal. 4:16 not only speaking the truth but presenting an action as the truth and not counterfeit (Sept.: Gen. 42:16; Prov. 21:3). Everything is intricate beyond imagining. Everything is affected by everything else. It is well-known that people communicate through a set of filters shaped by history, sense of identity, beliefs about what is true, and values about what is right, as well as perceptions and interpretations of what is going on. When someone else communicates with us, we squeeze the message through our own personal filtering system to understand. Of course, people from the same ethnic, cultural, gender, national, or geographic grouping have some common history and beliefs. That makes communication within those groups easier, than between people who come from different backgrounds. Beyond these differences, each of us also has unique ways of thinking and processing. We pay attention to various aspects of reality, based on how we individually use our brains. Some of us think in detailed linear sequences, while others prefer to envision a larger whole. Some people are attracted to those things that are different and new, while others are drawn to what is the same (or at least similar) to what they already know. In Noam Chomsky’s 1957 Ph.D. thesis, Transformational Grammar, he said there are three processes by which people create the filters of their individual Model of the World: 1. Deletion 2. Gerenalizasion 3. Distortion Rose Charvet, S., 2019. Words That Change Minds. Institute for Influence. Rule 10: be precise in speech Peterson, J., n.d. Summary of 12 rules for life. THE SPIRITUAL GROWTH PATH
Awaken to the reality of JESUS Christ
From a Pure Scriptural Perspective: Did Jesus Ever Make an Appeal for People to Worship Him? No, He did not.
His appeal over and over again was: “Follow me.” (Mat 4:19; 8:22; 9: 9; 10:38; 16:24; 19:21). So Jesus is not looking for our admiration, He is looking for our obedience. Of course, worship is an important part of my spiritual life and growth, but praise is not what saves us. Praise, worship, religious practice is not our mediator, Jesus is.
Baptism is a very controversial topic among Christians. However, the one thing that everyone agrees on is the fact that every believer should be baptized, because the Bible is very clear about that. The problem is how and when? We know that the core of the gospel is about laying down the old man, and taking up in the faith of your new Christ nature. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Matt. 16: 24-25; Gal. 2:20; Phil. 3:18).
The wonderful natural provision God gives is often perverted or falsified by satan so that we reject it. Hungry for God’s love, we then more easily buy into the weak imitation that satan offers us. We as human beings all have a spiritual spiritual hunger.
Link and become part of the Family: The essence of being a church is the gathering of believers (Acts 2:42, 46). The essence of this gathering is that we will build, establish, and strengthen one another in ministry (Matt. 22:39; Acts 2: 44-45; 1 Cor. 14:26).
Equip yourself for ministry (Matt. 28: 18-20, Acts 2:42). Every follower of Jesus always belongs in a Bible school.
Worship in Spirit and in Truth
Worship the Lord in Prayer and Praise (Matt. 22: 36-37, Acts 2:43, 47; Acts 2:42). God is Spirit and must be worshiped in Spirit and truth (John 4:35).
Lead someone to become a follower of Jesus
Lead someone to become a follower of Jesus (Matt. 28: 18-20, Acts 2:41, 47). There is nothing that refreshes and strengthens one more than the privilege of leading someone to the Lord.
Serve fellowship with Jesus’ life.
Serve the fellowship and World with Christ and help form fellowship in the image of Jesus Christ (Col. 1:28).
